Mark Zuckerberg and Priscilla Chan Sell San Francisco Home for $31 Million: Who's the Lucky Buyer?
Mark Zuckerberg, the CEO of Facebook, and his wife, Priscilla Chan, have sold their San Francisco home for $31 million. The property, located in the Pacific Heights neighborhood, was purchased by the couple in 2012 for $10 million and underwent extensive renovations. The 6,500-square-foot home features five bedrooms, five and a half bathrooms, a music room, a wine room, and a garden.
According to the report, the buyers are Nicolas Berggruen, a billionaire investor, and his girlfriend, Lauren Wong. Berggruen is the founder of Berggruen Holdings, a private investment firm, and is known for his real estate investments.
Zuckerberg and Chan have been selling off their real estate assets in the San Francisco Bay Area over the past few years. In 2020, they sold a nearby property for $37 million, and in 2019, they sold another property for $23.5 million.
